Do you have any advice for transport organisers?
“When trying to plan a job, always make a list of your requirements first. Often when customers come to us, we are able to find ways to get them the most cost-efficient service. By listing requirements, we can help our customers find the best solutions to suit all their needs.
“For example, when we were approached by a customer who needed urgent help moving their personal effects from Eastern Europe to the UK, we had just 2 days to get it quoted, planned and booked in.”
What happened?
“ We have helped countless customers with their personal effects movements over the years, usually under tight schedules. For this customer, we had about 2 days notice to move their goods from Eastern Europe to the UK. That included organising the road transport, sea transport, and customs. Typically we would need a week to plan for something like that!
“I worked closely with the customer, and we were able to get them moved with very little notice. We organised the road transport, end-to-end customs clearance and DFDS Dunkerque-Dover ferry tickets. Everything arrived at the destination on time and in order, and the customer was very pleased.
“If companies want to outsource their transport to us, or if they have a fleet but need additional vehicles to meet demand, then we can help.”
