As 2022 comes to a close, we thought we would ask Kev, Reload Manager, to go through some of our best bits. Take it away, Kev.

Merry (almost) Christmas!

While more of us clock off for the holidays, I thought it would be a good time to look back on the last year.

Here’s just a few of the developments we made in the last 12 months.

1. Our team grew significantly.

This year, we welcomed some fantastic new members to the team, including Anna, who have already supported customers with their freight forwarding requirements and have made a huge impact on the business.

Our recent growth has allowed us to support more customers than ever before, ranging from small to large enterprises.

Just a few months ago we supported one of our customers by organising the transport of exhibition equipment to the 2022 Labour Party Conference in Birmingham

2. We expanded our end-to-end customs offering.

At Reload, we’re more than just a freight forwarder. We can also help you with the customs side of things. If you’re transporting goods between the UK and EU, we can support you with your import and export documents.

We can offer this service for exports/imports from/to:

  • Great Britain
  • Northern Ireland
  • Republic of Ireland
  • Spain
  • France
  • The Netherlands
  • Poland

And more.

Every shipment is different, so don’t hesitate to contact us for a personalised quote.

3. Speaking of customs…

This year brought a lot of changes to UK customs regulations. One of the main changes this year came as the UK’s customs platform, CHIEF, was replaced by the new platform (CDS) for GB imports.

Alongside our sister company, CustomsLink, we helped 1000’s of GB Importers prepare for the transition to CDS.

We will also help our GB exporter customers with the final stage of the CDS transition in 2023.

While 2022 may be coming to a close, supply chains must keep moving.

That’s why we’re still available over the festive period to offer the same, high standard of service that makes us who we are.

In the meantime, Merry Christmas from myself and the rest of the Reload Team! We’ll see you in 2023.

Many thanks,

Kevin Tracey
